The Circuit is an inclusive and comprehensive Sexual Health Education Program created to make sex ed less awkward and more fun for teachers and students.
Developed by Jessy Wollen, founder of Shift Education, Certified Sexual Health Educator & Teacher with 13 years of experience in sexual health education, the program includes 10 sex ed units that are offered as game-based stations that students move through in small groups, interacting with topics on sexual health and healthy relationships. When you purchase The Circuit Kit, you’ll receive the materials for all 10 stations, printed in full color on 14-point stock paper, finished with a gloss UV coating, and packaged in a 15 L tote. The Period Station — This station contains 6 different exercises for your students, including an introduction page, the Menstrual Cycle Discovery Card Game, an 11″ x 17″ Hack the Flow Gameboard (laminated) and playing cards, a Vaginal Fluid Chatterbox game sheet, a Period Poverty Chatterbox game sheet, a Cycle Matchmaker Quiz, and a Self-Reflection Exercise.
The Condom Demo Station — This station contains 3 instructional sheets, 10 individual cards to complete the Condom Demo Game, and a wooden penis demonstrator.
The Values Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages, and 2 different card decks — a set of values cards and a set of non-negotiable cards.
The Literature Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages — 1-page introducing pamphlets and 1-page introducing books.
The Healthy Relationships Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages and 2 card decks containing 92 cards.
The Intimacy Ladder Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages and 2 activity pages.
The Online Resources Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages (1 double-sided page).
The You Deserve Support Station — This station contains 1 instructional page.
The Anatomy Station — This station contains 1 instructional page, 4 activity sheets, an answer key for each activity sheet, two sets of labels for labeling activities, and all anatomy sheets including a black and white copy to photocopy for in-class practice and assessment.
The Safer Sex Station — This station contains 2 instructional pages and 12 safer-sex playing cards.
